Join a noon Mass at Cao Dai Temple

8.00 Pick up at your hotel in HCMC, depart to Tay Ninh, Cao Dai temple – center of Caodaism, a religion that blends Buddhism, Christianity and Confucianism. Stroll around the Cao Dai temple, one of the impressive architectural structures in South-East Asia. At its entrance is the Left Eye of God, which is the Cao Dai religion’s symbol.

You then attend the midday ceremony organized by the Cao Dai followers to learn about the religious rituals. The followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Explore the bizarre tunnel systems of Cu Chi.

After lunch, leave for Cu Chi Tunnels. Be introduced to a short video which is also an overview of the Cu Chi’s history and Vietnamese endurance.

Start discovering Cu Chi on displaying are various man-traps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters, some permitted areas of the tunnel system, which is seen as an underground village in Cu Chi. There are field hospitals, weapon factories, kitchen, command centers, storage facilities, and trap doors. This system was made by hand, which proved the Vietnamese’s intelligence and creativity in the war.

Enjoy tasting the steamed tapioca root and sip tangy tea which is the main food in of Vietcong during the war in Cu Chi.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City, end the trip at your hotel around 18.00.
