Mekong Adventure to Ben Tre

7.30-8.30AM Pick you up at your hotel and depart for Ben Tre in Mekong Delta region.

Get on the boat at the pier of Phong Nam bridge, start sailing along the Chet Say River, one branch of Mekong river, to see the scene of transporting goods by boat on the river, fishing and coconut processing facilities along the riverbank. Stop at a brick kiln to see the local people make brick by hand (traditional way). Enjoy fresh coconut juice.

Visit coconut husking factory, to see the local people husking coconut by hand. Continue with boat. Visit one of the plenty of coconut processing workshop where coconut candy are made and have a chance to learn the coconut candy making process located along the canal – taste tropical fruit, honey tea.

Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to the village. Take a walk to the family making sleeping mat. Afterward, being on motor cart (tuk-tuk) or biking and traveling through some traquil villages where vegetable garden to be able to touch on real life and find out tropical culture from peasants.

13.00: Lunch at Xóm Nhỏ restaurant. Then get on a rowing boat, spend time relaxing while being rowed in a small boat slowly through the natural canals to get a sense of how truly beautiful this area is.

Disembark and return to the dock. Travel back to Saigon. End your trip at your hotel.
