Tam Giang Lagoon Day Trip

ITINERARY

Meet our guide and depart from your hotel in the morning. If you wish, make a stop at Tay Ba local market – the oldest and busiest market, visit the local market and interact with the honest traders, the bold colors of rural Vietnam. Then continue on to the area of growing safe vegetables of people with a lot of green vegetables such as lettuce, spinach, coriander…

We head to Bao La Rattan and Bamboo Cooperative. Here, you have the opportunity to witness the local craftsmen doing their daily work in producing of household items such as decorative lights, trays, baskets, etc. to fishing gear such as bamboo fish trap, fishing-basket, creel… You can buy some small items to commemorate the trip.

Have lunch with special delicious seafood at local restaurant with a view over the Tam Giang lagoon.

Afternoon, take a boat ride on Tam Giang Lagoon and admire the lagoon’s landscape, daily life of local fisherman. Tam Giang lagoon is not wavy but gentle. During the excursion, you will experience a number of fishing activities such as throwing nets, unloading fish trap, releasing fish to reproduce the environment… The fish you can catch will be used in snacks right on the boat.

Late afternoon, bid farewell to local fisherman and drive back to your hotel in Hue. End of tour.
