ITINERARY
07.30 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart to Ninh Binh. Have a short break on the way.
Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, visit the temple of King Dinh and King Le. Our tour guide will introduce more about the Hoa Lu history as the capital of Vietnam for 42 years (968 – 1010).
Continue visiting Hung’s family in Tam Coc. They are a traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together. Here you will see their daily life and join traditional embroidery class with Hung’s mother – one of the best artists in Tam Coc. You will have the chance to experience embroidery technique by yourself.
Then enjoy a special lunch prepared by the home chef with the local cuisines.
13:30 Move on to Tam Coc – the “Halong Bay on land” and get on a small boat for 2 hours boat trip. Tam Coc is the name of the limestone caves area stretching along Ngo Dong river. The boat trip is a nice journey along the river with the peaceful scenery.
After the boat trip, you will take a bicycle and ride at your leisure to explore the rice paddy fields, limestone mountains and a temple for 1 hour with beautiful scenery all along the way.
16.30 Go back to Hung’s family for some relaxing time with a foot massage in herbal water by local people. After finishing massage, you will receive a small gift from Hung’s family – A memorable token of the trip.
17:00 Transfer back to Hanoi and end the tour around 19:00 at your hotel.
